WARRANTY

What is the warranty period for a new watch purchased from Status?
At STATUS accessories, we will honour the warranty period for the brand of watch you have purchased. All warranty’s are limited and do contain certain exclusions. Please examine your warranty closely.

Where can I obtain a warranty for my watch?
A warranty booklet comes with the watch. As a warranty booklet cannot be re-issued, please take care not to mislay it during the warranty period.
However, we will also accept a proof purchase from to perform under warranty repairs.

What should I do if my watch needs repair?

Please send your watch to us at the below address, including all the original packaging, information booklets and warranty card or proof of purchase.  Please also attach a note outlining the problem or symptoms you are having with your watch, your full name, return address and contact phone number.

We recommend you use registered post or a reputable courier to ensure the safe delivery of your item, and to make tracing possible if necessary. Please ensure your full name and return address are on the outside of the parcel and the watch is securely packaged in bubble wrap inside. We recommend you keep a copy of the watch’s serial number and case number for your reference.

ECKO

Ecko watches are warranted to you, for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

HUGO BOSS

Hugo Boss watches have a 2 year limited warranty from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

TOMMY HILFIGER

Tommy Hilfiger watches have a 2 year limited warranty from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

LACOSTE

Lacoste watches have a 2 year limited warranty from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

TIMEX

Timex watches are warranted to you, for a period of 3 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

Gc Watches

Your Gc Watch is covered by an International guarantee against any manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Any part found to be defective within this period will be repaired or replaced at no charge

The Gc watches International guarantee certificate does NOT cover:

• Defects arising from damage, mishandling, incorrect or abusive use (knocks, crushng, moisture in the case of non water-resistant watches) alteration, or repairs not performed by an authentic Gc watches retailer.
• Leather straps or bracelets
• Batteries
• Normal wear of base metal, surface coated watches
• Theft or loss of the complete watch or components

Gc wtaches offers an International 24 month guarantee as of date of purchase, against any manufacturing defects. Please make sure your warranty is dated and Stamped at day of purchase. You will be required to present the Gc watches guarantee certificate duly completed, dated, and signed by Status Accessories to make use of the guarantee.

MICHAEL KORS

Michael Kors Watches are protected from the original date of purchase by a 2 year international warranty (proof of purchase is required). A covered component will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of charge. Please refer to the full warranty booklet that comes with your product.       

NAUTICA

Nautica watches come with a manufacturer's warranty for 3 years from date of purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse and excludes batteries, case, strap or bracelet.

MAXUM

Maxum watches are guaranteed for a period of 5 years for Waverider and Core ranges and 3 years on Digital from the date of purchase against all defects in material and workmanship. This does not apply to normal wear and tear, abuse of components, watch finish or platng and does not cover water damage caused by non compliance with the water restriction usage instructions.

For the warranty to be valid, it must be dated at the time of purchase and stamped by the retailer.

The following parts are not covered by Maxums limited warranty: Clasp, Bezel, Case Damage / Scratching / breakage of stones, Water leakage if screw in crown is not activated, general wear and tear, scratches.

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase receipt.

GUESS

Guess watches are guaranteed for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse of components and watch finish or plating and does not cover water damage caused by non compliance with the water restriction usage guide.

For the warranty to be valid, it must be dated at the time of purchase and stamped by the retailer.

The following parts are not covered by the Guess limited 3 warranty: Clasp, Bezel, Case damage / scratching / breakage of stones, lens damage / scratching or breakage, Water leakage if screw in crown is not activated, general wear and tear, scratches.

DKNY

DKNY watches are warranted to you, for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

DIESEL

DIesel watches are warranted to you, for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

AX ARMANI EXCHANGE

AX – Armani Exchange watches are warranted to you, for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.

MARC BY MARC JACOBS

Marc by Marc Jacobs watches are warranted to you, for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase against all defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or abuse or water damage and excludes batteries, case, crystal, strap or bracelet. We do not recommend changing your own battery.
